Capital gains tax checklist

Many divorcing parties are unaware that there may be capital gains tax to pay in the event that the former matrimonial home or any other property were to be sold.  In addition, it may be that an interest in a business needs to be transferred to the other party.  To assist clients in these difficult times we have prepared a capital gains checklist which will give an indication of the necessary steps to take and in particular identify situations where professional advice should be sought.
